Induced Counterflow Profile Type Cooling Tower Drift Eliminator PVC Panel and PP Spacer

Profile Type Drift Eliminator Modules use a series of sinusoidal-shaped PP (or PVC) blades to achieve excellent drift droplet removal by forcing the leaving air to make 3 distinct changes of direction. The more open blade spacing the lower the pressure drop and cost. The blades are held together with connectors, forming an assembled module that is lightweight but strong enough to span up to 2m between supports, saving material & labor costs and reducing air blockage. Easy to assemble on-site, DEP drift eliminator pack series are a popular choice for international projects (Shipping unassembled components vs. assembled modules can save significantly on freight costs).

Modern re-cooling systems need to consider aspects of the environment and sustainability. For cooling towers, this means it is important to reduce the loss of water and emissions. Therefore drift eliminators are used.

They are installed above the water distribution and cooling fills and catch the water drops that are carried away with the air flow and redirects them into the cooling water circuit.

Our drift eliminators are available in two different types. The profile (TAP 160) is mostly used in bigger, the module types (TEP 130) is in smaller cooling towers.
